Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup chopped peaches (fresh or canned)
1/2 cup brown sugar
Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
- In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Gently incorporate the chopped peaches into the dough.
- Grease your donut pan, and fill each cavity about 3/4 full with the mixture, swirling a small amount of cream cheese into each donut’s center.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown. Cool in the pan for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Mix brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon in a small bowl for topping.
- Once cooled, lightly dust the tops with powdered sugar.
Notes
For a healthier option, consider using whole wheat flour or substituting some ingredients with Greek yogurt.
