Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut heart shapes using a cookie cutter or knife.
- Place filling in the center of half the hearts, leaving space around edges.
- Top with remaining pastry hearts and seal edges by pressing down.
- Brush tops with egg wash (egg and water/milk mixture).
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Can be filled with various fillings based on preference. Avoid overfilling or skipping the egg wash to ensure golden pastries.
